Anthropic Brings Claude Tools Together

Anthropic is combining Claude’s chat and workplace features into a single interface, removing the need for users to choose between separate tools before starting a task. The company is also launching Claude Docs and Claude Slides, bringing document and presentation creation directly into the same workspace.
The changes are intended to make Claude easier to use for everyday professional work. Rather than asking users to decide which feature is appropriate, the system will select the capabilities it needs automatically. Documents can be exported to Google Docs or Microsoft Word, while presentations can be sent to PowerPoint or PDF.
The update arrives as AI companies compete more aggressively for enterprise and non-technical users. Anthropic is also folding its visual design tools into the main Claude experience, creating a broader workspace where users can move from research and writing to documents and presentations without leaving the platform. The new features will roll out first to Pro and Max subscribers before expanding further.
The shift points to a broader change in the AI market. Competition is no longer centred only on which company has the strongest model; increasingly, it is about which product can become part of everyday work with the least friction. For business users, that makes workflow, compatibility and ease of use just as important as raw technical capability.
